THE BIGGEST TRUCK ON THE PLANET

The Belaz 75710 is huge. In fact, this dump truck is the largest dump truck in the world. Designed by A.N. Egorov, Belaz’s General Designer, this Belaz mining dump truck can carry up to 450 tons of rock and other mining material. This new dump truck is so huge that it occupies an entirely new class of mining dump trucks. And although the Belaz 75710 is the planet’s biggest dump truck, its power train, suspension, steering, and load-carrying frame make it very maneuverable.

There a lot of different categories of trucks but among them is the family of biggest trucks in the world. Every trucking service needs specific types of trucks and because of that some of the trucks needed to become so huge that seeing them in person bring us fear.

BelAZ will join more than 300 exhibitors on the exhibition floor at the Asia-Pacific International Mining Exhibition (Aimex) at the Sydney Showgrounds from 29-31 August.

The Belarusian company has been in operation for around 70 years and was once one of the Soviet Union’s largest vehicle manufacturers. The group is best known for its mining dump trucks, including the current largest-capacity haul truck in the world, the 450-tonne-capacity BelAZ 7571.

BelAZ manufacturers more than 145,000 vehicles annually that are distributed across more than 30 countries, but the company is headed to Aimex to re-establish itself in the Asia-Pacific region.

“BelAZ is a global leader in its field. We are excited to see them showcase their capabilities and hear more about what they will be offering to the Australian market,” Aimex event director Brandon Ward says.

BelAZ says it will be showcasing its haul trucks that have been designed for operation in the hot climate of the region.

Representatives from BelAZ will also take part in the ‘Future of Mining’ conference at Aimex and will be discussing innovations and digital advancements in mining, as well as improvements in operational efficiency, maintenance, fleet performance and occupational health and safety.

The BelAZ is currently the world’s highest-capacity haul truck. The monster weighs in at 350 tonnes unladen, and can carry a payload of 450 tonnes for a gross weight of 800 tonnes.

The 7571 is powered by two 16-cylinder 1715kW diesels and sits on top of eight enormous 59/80R63 tyres. The truck has an overall footprint of 20.6m (l) X 9.75m (w) X 8.17m (h), which BelAZ says is a similar footprint to trucks with a capacity of just 360 tonnes.
